How does teeth whitening work?

1. Take-Home Whitening
- We take impressions of your teeth to create custom-fitted trays.
- You’ll receive the trays along with the POLA Office whitening gel to use at home.
- Maximum results are typically achieved within 2 to 4 weeks.
2. In-Chair Whitening
- Performed in our clinic for immediate results.
- Your teeth are carefully isolated from your gums and soft tissues, which are protected with a special barrier.
- The whitening gel is applied and activated with a specialized light, then rinsed off and reapplied as needed.
- You leave with a noticeably brighter smile in just one visit!
Pro Tip: For the longest-lasting results, we recommend pairing your in-chair whitening with a take-home kit. Everyday foods and drinks can gradually dull your smile, so “topping up” your whitening every 3, 6, or 12 months helps maintain your results.
