Mia Budden
Oral Health Therapist & Receptionist

Mia was born in South Korea but was adopted by her very loving Aussie family when she was 3 years old. She is a originally from the Northern Territory but came to Adelaide to study the Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Adelaide. She graduated in 2009 and is now an Oral Health Therapist (BOH, Adel) who is dual qualified in both dental hygiene (scale and cleans on all ages) and dental therapy (dental examinations and treatment up to the age of 18). She has a special interest in nervous and anxious patients, special needs and the medically compromised. In 2015 Mia undertook further training to become qualified in in-office whitening (eg. laser tooth whitening). Mia also regularly attends professional development courses and conferences in Australia and around the world to keep up-to-date with current knowledge.
She loves the Korean culture including the food and KPop. She married her husband Tim in November 2016. They met at uni while studying the same course and graduated together. They adopted a staffy cross puppy in September 2017 so there is never a dull moment! Mia loves arts and crafts as well as cooking and travelling with her husband all over the world.
